The Department of Emergency Management and Occupational Health provides students with the information and the intellectual foundation needed to excel in a variety of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary environments.

The course offerings in the department are designed to provide students with the broad background necessary for employment in industry, government, first response, education, non-governmental agencies, public agencies, and the private sector. The department offers a variety of degrees, certificates, and minors in emergency management, occupational and environmental health and safety, and emergency medical services.
