PSY 3214 - Introduction to Neuroscience

Introduction to the normal structure and function of the nervous system in relation to behaviors and experiences in humans and nonhumans with an integrated laboratory component. Topics include brain structure, physiology, development, drugs of abuse, bodily senses, and behavior. Fall. Special course fees may apply.

Prerequisites: MATH 1023 , MATH 1043 , or STAT 2003 ; PSY 2013 ; BIOL 1003  and BIOL 1001 , or BIOL 1063  and BIOL 1001 , or BIO 1503  and BIO 1501 , or BIO 2013  and BIO 2011 , or BIO 2103  and BIO 2101 , or BIO 2203  and BIO 2201 ; or instructor permission.
