Historical and current trends in teaching social studies at the secondary school level. Ma­jor emphasis on content and concept development and their application in the social studies classroom. Practice in writing objectives, applying teaching techniques, and formulating student evaluations. Must be admitted to the Teacher Education Program. Fall, Spring.
