CS 6543 - Advanced Database Systems

A study of the internals of database systems as a basis for system implementation and performance tuning, including the topics of database system architecture, transactions and serializability, recovery from errors, query optimization, and new technologies in database systems.

Prerequisites: CS 3113 or “B” or better in CS 5032, CS 3233, and CS 4543 or CS 5543.
