In addition to the University requirements for all Baccalaureate Degrees, the major requirements include:

  1. No grade below C in courses with an ARED/ART/ARTH/DIGI/GRFX prefix or their prerequisites may be applied to the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
  2. 2.75 GPA in major.

Completion of ART 1010  is required prior to enrolling in emphasis courses.

Area of Specialization:


At least four courses must be taken at the 3000 or 4000 level in one Art Studio Specialization. Areas include: Painting, Printmaking, Ceramics, Fiber Arts, Sculpture, Photography, Illustration, 2D Studio Art, or 3D Studio Art. ART 4863  is part of the Art Studio Specialization. It should be taken with area instructor during final semester. Sem. Hrs: 12
