The certificate is for currently enrolled Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) students or individuals who already hold a graduate degree in counseling or a closely related field. Specifically, the certificate program allows individuals access to educational course work required by the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling (ArBOEC) for eligibility for the Licsensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) credential. Students seeking certification from outside of the state of Arkansas and/or those who currently do not hold a Licsensed Associate Counselor (LAC) or Licsesned Professional Counselor (LPC) credential are highly encouraged to seek advising from their home state credentialling board prior to application to this certificate program.
