MDIA 5373 - Internet Communications

Sem. Hrs: 3

Provides students with a thorough understanding and practice in the use of the Information Superhighway. Students will develop skills and strategies to access and create news, advertising, and public relations messages in this new electronic medium for mass communications. The course will also look at new opportunities for communications professionals, examine critical social, political, and economic issues for the medium, and prepare for future technological advances.

Prerequisites: basic computer competency.
